In-unit rehab work will require residents to be temporarily relocated during work hours (8AM-5PM) to a nearby day space for approximately three weeks per household (with longer stays for those residing in apartments selected for full ADA upgrades). Those who reside in apartments selected for full ADA upgrades will be temporarily relocated to a nearby extended stay hotel. Residents will receive at least a 30 day notice of their move dates.
Residents receive one-on-one assistance to identify preferences as part of the relocation planning.
Special needs of residents are considered, including disability, transportation, language, and other barriers, as well as the physical/mental health of residents.
Day space is safe and sanitary with food and refreshments provided.
Residents have no out-of-pocket expense as a result of the required relocations.
